Dental implants
Replace missing teeth with dental implants designed to look natural, feel secure when you eat, and protect neighbouring teeth from unnecessary preparation.
How implants work
A titanium implant is placed in the jaw to act like a tooth root. After it integrates with bone, we attach an abutment and a custom crown matched to your smile. Treatment is planned with clinical examination and imaging — never a one-size-fits-all package.

Who implants can help
- A single missing tooth where a bridge would mean preparing healthy neighbours
- Several gaps, or teeth that cannot be saved predictably
- Patients wanting a fixed alternative to a removable denture
- People prepared to invest in a staged plan over several months
Your journey at Riverside
- Consultation and imaging — medical history, bone volume, and gum health.
- Written plan and fees — placement, crown, and any grafting quoted clearly.
- Placement and healing — time for the implant to integrate before the final tooth.
- Final crown and reviews — bite, appearance, and long-term cleaning advice.
Risks and realistic expectations
Implants have high success rates in healthy patients, but smoking, uncontrolled diabetes, and poor cleaning increase risk. We discuss this openly. Bone grafting, if needed, adds time and cost — we will say so before you decide.
Start with a consultation with Dr Priya Patel. You will leave knowing whether an implant is suitable and what the next clinical step would be.
Frequently asked questions
How long does implant treatment take?
Most cases take several months from placement to final crown, allowing time for the implant to integrate with the bone.
Will it look natural?
Yes — crowns are colour-matched and shaped to blend with neighbouring teeth.
Do I always need bone grafting?
No. Grafting is only recommended when imaging shows insufficient bone volume. We quote it separately if needed.
